I discovered this little gem at the Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum near Osaka. Momofuku Ando invented instant noodles, but whoever came up with Milk Seafood Noodle needs to have their head checked.
It just sounds disgusting.

when most people think of japanese food, they get mental images of sushi and other delicate little anal-retentive bite-sized bits of harmoniously arranged combinations of foods representing japan’s deep connection with nature and blah, blah, blah. i like all that stuff too, but when i’m hungry, this is what i want to eat:
it’s a big, fat bowl of rice, topped with grilled chicken and onions and covered with egg.
question: how can you go wrong with that?
answer: it’s impossible to go wrong with that.
